Art In Action Program



Art In Action is a hands on workshop series that provides students with instruction aimed at strengthening their artistic skills, confidence, interpersonal skills and decision-making habits. Dance, drama, photography and other topics are covered.

What is Art In Action? 
1. Art In Action is a hands-on workshop series that will provide students with instruction on a range of art topics. Click here for details on upcoming workshops.
2. Each workshop will include instruction, practice time and a light snack.
3. Students will be encouraged to display their completed projects for the community to view, but they will also have the opportunity to take any completed art projects with them after finishing their workshops.

Who can attend Art In Action? 
Art In Action is open to all students ages 12-17, but parents must complete an enrollment form for each student they wish to participate in Art In Action.

Will transportation be provided? 
Transportation will not be provided. Parents and/or mentors are responsible for getting students to and from the workshops. All program sites are MARTA accessible.

Is there a cost for Art In Action? 
There is no charge for Art In Action, but parents can make small donations for their students to attend Art In Action.
